Our Commitment to Privacy and Security
Your Privacy and Security are extremely important to us. Because of our great respect for your Rights and to better protect your Privacy and Security, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about how your information is collected and used. And to make this notice easy to find, we make it available from all Site pages and at every point in the Site where personally identifiable information may be requested.

Our Commitment to Privacy
Your Privacy is critically important to us. We have developed the following policies and practices that reflect how seriously we take protecting your Privacy and to inform you of the choices you can make about how your information is collected and used.
The Information We Collect
When you visit our website, our web server recognizes your navigational information, including non-personally identifiable information (i.e. domain type, browser version, service provider and IP address) but, unless you register with us, not your email address. The navigational information we collect tells us about your use of our website, including the areas of our Site that you visited and the time of your last visit to a page on our website. It also tells us about the technical efficiencies of our website (i.e. the time it takes a visitor to connect to our website or download pages). This navigational information helps us better understand visitors’ experiences using the Site and improve visitors’ experiences by recognizing and delivering more of the features, services and products our visitors prefer.
We may also collect the email addresses of our visitors who voluntarily post messages to our blog, who communicate with us via email, and who submit their email addresses, either to subscribe to our email newsletter or to receive information about their order. Importantly, WE DO NOT SELL OR RENT our visitor or customer email addresses or make them available to other organizations for their marketing purposes.
Of necessity, we also provide to our suppliers and credit providers the information needed for them to grant credit and fulfill your orders placed on the Site. As a result of this sharing, our suppliers gain information that they might use for contact and marketing purposes separate from the policies and practices of this Site. Also, it is an important objective of this Site to act as a representative of our approved suppliers and information services and to promote appropriate information exchange between you and them. As a result of this objective, but to preserve your Privacy beyond these desirable relationships, we pre-qualify and only accept suppliers that agree to the same Privacy policies and practices that we follow. In addition, we give you the ability to opt in or out of the different levels that information may be shared. See “How to Access or Correct Your Information” for more details.
Purchasing Products: While visitors are not required to register to purchase goods from the Site, we collect the information needed to grant credit and fulfill orders placed with the Site. Registered users are required to create a user name and password to obtain the advantages of saving information for to make future ordering easier. The Shopping Cart and Wish List will also be saved if created by registered users. Required information collected in the registration and ordering process includes:
- Customer Name
- Customer Address
- Customer Email Address
- Customer Phone Number
- Customer Credit Card Information
- Customer Shipping Address
If the product you are purchasing happens to be for someone else, you will be asked to submit information about other people. For example, if the order happens to be a gift for a friend, you may be required to submit his or her name along with their shipping information. This information includes:

- Shipping Address
- Shipping Phone Number
The following policies apply to the processing of purchase transactions:
- If you choose to register or to order from the Site, we will collect users' names, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and credit card numbers for the sole purpose of completing the orders and making future purchases more efficient for you.
- Other than when you elect to register or place an order, the Site does not collect users' names, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or credit card numbers. We will never ask for driver's license numbers, Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) from a bank, social security numbers, or any other information which can be used to identify a specific person or match such information with the anonymous profiles.
- We do not share, sell, rent or barter any identifiable personal information to any third party without your permission.
- We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. Nor do we use the information you provide about someone else to send newsletters or other promotional emails or surveys.
- We may employ other non-supplier companies to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, conducting customer surveys, and providing customer service. These other companies only have access to information needed to perform their functions, and they may not use it for any other purposes.
"Tell a Friend" and emailing Wish Lists: We respect your friend's Privacy just as we do yours. Our Site gives you the opportunity to invite your friends to visit our website. We will ask for your friend's name and email address, however, under no circumstances will we use your friend's personal information for any reason beyond the purposes of informing them about a product, supplier or the Site, itself. In fact, we do not retain any information, whatsoever, about you friend unless they visit the Site and register or purchase product on their own.
Protecting Children: This Site is not directed to children, does not carry “adult” products, does not link to “Adult” sites, and the Site does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or knowingly market to children.
We may, at times, collect information, such as survey responses, volunteered by visitors. Such information will be used on an aggregate basis unless specific contact is requested from the visitor.
Information collected during user registration will provide the contact information needed to send out Newsletters or promotional announcements. Registered users, however, may opt-out of receiving mailings; see the “My Account” opt-out options in the “How to Access or Correct Your Information” section below.
This Site contains links to other websites. A visitor that follows these links is no longer within the control of this Site, and this Site’s protections may no longer apply. This Site is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of linked-to websites.
How We Use Information
The information we collect is used to grant credit and acknowledge and deliver items that visitors order, to improve the content of our website, and to contact visitors (with permission) for our own marketing purposes. We also work with reputable third parties who assist us in delivering products or services to you. In these instances, we will provide your personal information to third parties so that they can perform these services. Unless otherwise noted in this policy, all third parties with whom we work are governed by the Privacy policy of this Site.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better select our suppliers, select our products, and design our website. For example, we may count how many visitors we have in total and on each web page. We do not disclose anything that could be used to identify individuals.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
The information we collect may be disclosed if we are legally required to do so at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our website and applicable laws, or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our website.
The following gives more specifics on the use of information:
- Placing an Order:
We use the information you provide about yourself or someone else when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. When you place an order, information is requested to verify your identity and to process your purchase.
- Registration:
When you register on our Site, we will ask you for your contact information (such as your e-mail address) and demographic information (such as your zip code). We may use customer contact information from the registration process to send you newsletters, special promotions, or contact you with invitations to participate in surveys. As part of the registration process, however, you have the right to opt-out of Newsletters and other forms of contact. Demographic and personal data is used to tailor your experience at our Site. In addition, information about purchases from suppliers will be shared with those suppliers in order to allow them to provide you additional information about the product you purchased or other products you might be interested in based upon the product you purchased.
- "My Account" / Your Profile:
When you register for “My Account” and create your profile, we collect relevant information to complete and fulfill your order, including billing, shipping, and contact information. In order to ensure greater Security over credit approval and your credit information, we use a third-party credit approval service (PayPal). As a result, we act as a secure ‘gateway’ to PayPal and do not collect or retain your credit card information. You need not create a PayPal account in order to purchase. Unless you create a PayPal account, PayPal will not retain any credit card information either. As a convenience, you may create a PayPal account to eliminate the need to enter your credit card information for future purchases through PayPal, but this relationship and the information retained is entirely separate from this Site. By registering for My Account, your non-credit personal information will be stored for your next purchase. If you do not want us to store this information, you can clear your information under the “View or change my account information” option area of “My Account” profile. For Security purposes, registered users are required to establish a password for “My Account” in order to control access to your personal information and to allow you to securely modify this information at any time.
- Email:
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. The Site’s email Newsletters are intended to keep registered users informed of the Site’s and suppliers new products, special offers, and special features. Our policy is to send our email announcements or Newsletters only to those who request this when registering. If you receive an email and want to be removed from the email list, we provide instructions on how to unsubscribe so that you will not receive any other messages from the Site in the future. You may also edit your email preferences using the “Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters” option within "My Account."
- Surveys & Special Sales:
From time to time, the Site may email surveys or sales promotions, such as customer satisfaction surveys and special item or supplier promotions. Participation in surveys is completely voluntary, and the user, therefore, has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. When you receive an email about an item promotion, you may be given a special coupon code to use to receive the promotion price. There may be an expiration date associated with the code, and you may need to record this code on your own to use it within the Site.
- Cookies:
To better serve you, we use "cookies" to reduce your time required to submit purchase requests. We use cookies to retrieve certain information you previously provided to the Site so that you do not need to re-enter this information every time you shop at our Site. Cookies cannot be used to access information you entered on our secure server – such information can only be accessed when you enter your name and password. We do not use cookies to track your Internet activity once you leave our Site.
A cookie does not contain any personally identifying information but does allow the Site to assign each user a unique number. This unique number allows us to enhance your user experience by tracking the items in your Shopping Cart and by saving your past purchase information for the next time you visit the Site.
Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but usually you can change the configuration of your browser to prevent this from occurring. Even without a cookie you can still take advantage of most of the features of the Site, including placing items in a shopping cart and making a purchase. But, as a basis for improved order processing, your purchasing experience on our Site will not be as good if you delete cookies or if you have disabled cookies in your browser.
Our Commitment to Information Security
The protection of all information we receive on our Site is of critical importance to us and our Site visitors and users, and our Site takes every precaution to protect your information. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the secure use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
In order to try to minimize Security risk, we encrypt all information that you submit in ordering our products or services using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. We use industry-standard SSL authentication to guarantee the confidentiality and Privacy of online transactions through our Site and communications with our credit providers and suppliers. SSL authentication and 128-bit encryption (scrambling) ensures that your online transaction and credit card information are safe from third party interception. This technology works best when the Site is viewed using Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. All information that you provide during the shopping process is encrypted for your protection. You will know you are in an encrypted area when you see a solid key icon when using Netscape Navigator or a closed lock icon when using Internet Explorer.
For additional Security, this Site uses PayPal for credit authorization and, therefore, will never store or display your credit card number once it has been entered and processed on the PayPal site. This completely eliminates any concerns about your credit information being available to be “hacked” from our Site.
Our Site contains links to other sites. Although most sites today have adequate Security, once you have linked to another site, you have exited the Security features of this Site.
!!Please note that email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers or other forms of critical personal information. Our Site will never request confirmation of user names, passwords, contact or credit card information via email, and any such requests are not from us, should be treated as “phishing” from other unauthorized sources, and should be deleted without any response by you!!
A brief word on credit card fraud to give you additional comfort in using this Site:
Credit card fraud occurs when someone obtains your card information without your authorization or permission and uses it to make a purchase. We, along with our credit partners, take precautions to carefully screen orders when they are made to prevent credit card fraud to the extent possible.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your credit card provider cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. Of course, in the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must also immediately notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
How to Access or Correct Your Information
You can always access and change or correct your personal information at any time by accessing it through "My Account." This ensures control over your own information. Options include: “View or change my account information”, “View or change entries in my address book”, and “Change my account password.” In addition, you can opt-out of Newsletters and other email notifications (other than order and shipping confirmations) using the “Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters” or the “View or change my product notification list” options within “My Account.”
If you have any difficulties or concerns about your Account, please contact us. Of course, because of Security placed upon your information, we will not be able to change it for you, just help you delete or make the changes yourself.
